P.P. Non woven fabrics are broadly defined as sheet or web structures bonded together by entangling fiber or filaments mechanically, thermally and chemically. It can be alternatively used as paper, jute fabric, cotton fabric etc. It provides specific function such as absorbency, liquid repellence, resilience, flame retardancy, cushioning. It is not a simple plastic fabric and it is characterised by tensile, tear and burst strength, elongation to break, weight, thickness, porosity and stability to heat and chemicals.
